Steve, more commonly known as "the creature" or "Frankenstein's monster," is just that. Frankenstein's monster. You know, from the book. It's been more than 200 years since then, and, after failing to die in the arctic, Steve has been on a very slow and aimless tour of the world on foot. It isn't like he's had much else to do. Time has mellowed him out, to be sure, but there are still many emotions swirling around somewhere inside him and not much for him to do with it.

It’s a good thing he’s met Emmett and the rest, no matter how much he claims he’s used to being alone. It’s good to finally have a family.
