Vasil is Melanie’s dad, not that she ever mentions him. And that’s not because they aren’t close..! Figuratively. Vasil and Melanie have been separated for a few decades and looking for each other for just as long. Their reunion is coming, though. Don’t worry.

Being both a vampire and a father, Vasil is someone who knows how to deal with things with his head up and a smile that promises things will get better. He cares deeply for the wellbeing of others, especially other monsters, and perhaps that’s why Steve can remember him so clearly from centuries past…
